Purchase on Guntree

I saw a listing on Gumtree and I'm in a dilemma, I really liked the item but I'm concerned if it's legitimate. As it is far away from me, it has to be posted. If I make the payment through PayPal, will I be covered and refunded if the goods don't arrive, or it was a scam?

Depends on if you have to return it at your own expense costing more than the item cost.
