Verify Papyal debit card to use in Google Pay

How will I verify my Paypal debit card so that I can use it in Google pay. It first asked me to call a number, which when I called told me to ask the help center for verification. Can someone say how to verify?

I've yet to get an answer to this as well. They've had me reinstall the app and all kinds of stupid solutions I knew wouldn't work.
