Are there fees when getting cashback when shopping with the Paypal Debit Cash Card at stores?

I've had this question for a while now but have recently wanted it answered. I own the PayPal Debit Cash card and before I got the card for the first time, I was reading through the list of fees and don't remember reading anything about cashback, so I figured that it wasn't cashback-approved so to speak. Now, of the times I've used this card at stores, I've noticed that when paying, I am prompted "Would you like cashback?". Because I wasn't aware that this card had the option of cashback, I have since selected "No" when I am prompted the above question in case there are charges or fees if I were to select "Yes". So, for anyone else that has the same card, I ask you...have you gotten the same prompt? If so, did you select "Yes"? Were you charged a fee if you did?

Hi @lopezj30,
Thank you for your post!
I do understand your concern. From my knowledge, cashback at stores work the same as making a transaction. Therefore, you should not be charged fees for opting for cashback when making an instore purchase.

I hope this helps!
