Cant use PayPal credit despite having enough on the account and merchant accepts PayPal credit

I've been trying to buy something on my PayPal credit for a few days from 2 different merchants that accept PayPal credit, and I have enough on the account. However every time I go to checkout paypal says theyve "lost the connection". This isn't the merchant's error as I've spoken to both of them, just wondering if my paypal credit has been stopped somehow?

Hello @Sabaker,

Welcome to our community help forum and thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear that you're not able to use PayPal credit. Please try clearing cache/cookies and also try using a different browser or device to see if this works. PayPal Credit may not be offered as a funding source for every purchase. Every time you attempt a payment using PayPal, it goes through a series of filters to determine how much potential risk may be involved. It the system deems risk, our system may temporarily block the activity or limit the payment options. Even if a merchant offers PayPal Credit, PayPal reserves the right to restrict your ability to use your credit line depending on the circumstances of each purchase. If PayPal Credit does not appear as a payment option at checkout, you will not be able to use your PayPal Credit account for that particular transaction and you can continue with the payment using different payment method.

I hope this information helps!
