I'm sorry to hear that you had an accident! That's definitely a difficult position to be in, and potentially costly. There is no accident insurance associated with a PayPal account.
Many people either purchase rental insurance separately at the time of the rental, or their own auto insurance may include something for use when renting a car. I hope you can find some options there!
