Making purchase over the credit limit

Hi My current PayPal credit limit is £800. Whenever I've made a large purchase (anything above 300) I've used PayPal credit to pay it off in 4 installments. I'm now looking to make a purchase on eBay but the total amount is £1100 If I want to use PayPal credit would my limit be increased or I need to make a payment for the different upfront

I understand your concern about the PayPal credit limit increase. PayPal reviews your credit limit monthly and may invite you to increase your limit once you’ve been a PayPal Credit customer for at least 3 months.
