paypal debit card wont activate

i received new paypal debit card as a replacement for the old one which was now out of date, and when trying to activate, i put the cvc in and then it takes me to an error page, does it in the app and on the website

Sorry to hear that you're getting an error page while activating your new PayPal Debit card. It could be a technical glitch. I suggest you to try clearing your cookies, history, cache, etc. from your browser or try using a different browser/device. Alternatively, you can also give a call to the  24-hour automated activation line to get your PayPal Debit card activated. Contact options to reach PayPal Debit card activation line is available in this Help Center article.
