A problem with Ebay and using Best Offer with Pay in 4

Having a problem with Ebay and using Best Offer with Pay in 4 ... Unlike before, now when you make an offer it automatically puts a hold on your funds even if the offer is automatically declined ... I was using Pay in 4 and now, though I even did not get the item bid on the second time, it will not release the hold so I can use Pay in 4 again to make another offer

Ebay blames PayPal, PayPal blames Ebay and in the meanwhile I lose the item I was trying to make an offer on ... I've used Best Offer several times before to great success and this new glitch in the system is making it impossible to do any thing at all ...

Do any of you have any suggestions if you'd had this happen before and how you've handled it?

I understand you're having difficulty using Pay in 4 on eBay. It sounds like an authorization or temporary hold is placed on the funds when you place the offer. If the merchant (eBay) automatically cancels this authorization, you'll likely be able to use Pay in 4 immediately. However, our system will automatically cancel it after 72 hours if they don't.
