App authentication not working

I have had to download and reinstall the PayPal business app. When I agree to receive a text to get the authorisation code the text is sent but the app closes at the same time and I am unable to enter the code.

I'm sorry you're having difficulty logging into the PayPal Business App. I recommend clearing the App's Cache in your phone's app settings. If the same issue continues to occur, please try uninstalling and reinstalling it again. If that doesn't fix it, please reach out to Customer Support through one of the options here: How do I contact PayPal's Customer Service?
