Asked for my Credit payment to allocated to my special financing. It was not.

I made a large payment, by calling Paypal Credit, and stating that I wanted to pay part of my special financing. Only a small part of it was. I was even told by the representative what the remainder of my special financing was after she took the payment. Yet, my Credit account dashboard shows that only a few dollars of the payment was applied to my special financing. I called again today and I was told that the payment I made yesterday went to my overall balance!!!!!!!! WHAT!?!?!? The rep, during today's call, told me that "a request has been made to allocate the payment to my special financing".

What is going on here?

I think paypal credit customer services would know the answer to that one more than anyone on this forum unfortunately.

I have also called cust service referencing payment to pay down the "special financed" item (3x). They do not seem to understand  the question.

Has this been resolved by Paypal?

It appears that this happens to everyone who ask to make payment allocations to reflect the non-promotional balance. I, too, have called 5x and EVERY time, they have to request it AGAIN. I have yet to receive resolution on this.
