Credit Limit Incorrect?

UPDATE: I finally talked to a live person and apparently if you pay a larger amount than 2,500, a hold gets put on the rest for a few weeks for verification. It will go back on after that hold period! I paid nearly half of what I owed and now my available credit is way lower than it should be. However, I did the math and the numbers are backwards. For example, (not actual numbers) it should be 3,210 but instead it's 2,310. I don't know if it's a coincidence, if they randomly reduced my limit without telling me or even updating my card info (it still says the correct limit in the manage tab) or if their system is wonky. Any ideas on how to fix this?

What I believe is the cause is using automatic payments each month and that possibly PayPal just adds those amounts to the current balance and any pending charges to come up with an inaccurate credit available. I too cannot get a live person and am given the inaccurate credit limit whether I login to PayPal or call the Mastercard Customer Service number. Trying the Chat is USELESS! I hoped that when my monthly statement came out and DID show the correct available credit with my correct credit limit and current balance that it would show correctly but when I pull up my PayPal account online and go to the Synchrony section, but it does not. And again the automated voice also reflects the inaccurate amount and won't put me through to a person saying they have the same (inaccurate) amount.

My reply actually pertains to Available Credit being reflected incorrectly both online in PayPal and calling Synchrony. My problem turned out to also pertain to some hold put on the account, no longer necessary and never undone by PayPal Synchrony. It took FOREVER to get around the watchdog autobots and CHAT that PayPal puts up to prevent actual human contact. BUT eventually after conquering the menu maze to get somebody and many lengthy holds with loud, bad music the available credit hold Did get removed is no longer reflected inaccurately when I pull up my PayPal Mastercard online. Please see my other reply that waiting for the monthly statement that DID reflect the correct available credit deducting my balance from my limit, did not change the amount shown online or quoted when calling. It took an actual customer service rep to go in and correct it.
