Thank you for your post and welcome back to the Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that there has been frustration with billing agreements, and I hope I can help clarify matters for you.
When there is a billing agreement established upon making an initial payment, that agreement is made between you and the merchant, and a backup payment method is required to secure that agreement. With some merchants, this is required in order to conduct the initial transaction.
A lack of funds does not cancel the agreement to pay for the next transaction that is charged as a result of that agreement. A manual cancellation of the billing agreement is what will prevent further charge. To modify or cancel an automatic payment, please follow these steps.
