Pay in 4 Not showing up anymore

Hello, I have some question about ay in 4 feature, I was approved for the feature but now on websites where it was shown, I no longer see the options why could this be?

Same thing happened to me I can't use Klarna because I was rejected you won't get a real answer out of paypal just a run around

The same thing happened to me. As soon as I cancelled, the option vanished where before that it was previously available.

Welcome to our Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues using Pay in 4 recently. The option to use Pay in 4 as a funding source depends on a few different factors ranging from the price of the item, what's being purchased, and whether the merchant offers it or not. Ultimately, if you do not see the option to use Pay in 4 at checkout, you'd want to try another funding source for your purchase.

I find your post rather incorrect.

Today i tried with a particular merchant   that i have used before with pay in 4 on my account.  this time when i went to purchase i was did not see it.

So i got my partner to to go to same Merchant and choose the same items and to  then pay  it by pay pal in 4  , She had the option

So how is this different   as some merchants offer it and some don't

Surely thats discrimination   if the 1 merchant offers pay in 4 to 1  person and not to another

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for asking for clarification on this issue. While the price of the item, what's being purchased, and the merchant are factors in whether Pay in 4 is offered or not, I should have also mentioned there are other factors that are reviewed behind the scenes as well. My apologies for that confusion. 

 

The factors reviewed behind the scenes are normally based off of a review completed by our security systems. Most of what they review and how they review that information is kept confidential. I can say making sure your cards, banks, and any email addresses on file are confirmed all helps. If you've already verified and confirmed that information, it may be one of a variety of reasons PayPal reviews regarding each individual transaction behind the scenes.

Me too I don't understand and I have three active ones right now and I have many that I paid off and was never late. I got to call them this is not right this is how I'm able to afford stuff.

I’m having the same issues too and all PayPal could tell me is that it allows for you to pay at some merchants. Well it’s not letting me pay at any of them now.

WHY is this coming back as a solution, this is not a solution.  My account has never got the pay in 4 back its been over a month, I have 50+ purchases on my account and 0 late payments NEVER late EVER not 1 minute….  I cancelled a purchase during pay in 4 and then the option was no longer available, PayPal C.S said that my account says I am good and its available but no matte where I go I cant use it before everywhere I went I had the option….  This is not a solution ,please change this…. There is a glitch in their coding and its causing the option to disappear for anyone who cancels a purchase during checkout, so if you have the item in your cart and you click pay in 4 you better go through with it or else you’ll never get to use it again.   Ive tried other web browsers that did nothing, my next test is I am going to see if paying by mobile might do something, if anyone has any way of sending a message to someone up high or just gives a damn please let them now to try and look into it.  Because this should have a simple answer to “why is my pay in 4 gone” not some politicians answer like, ‘it does, its automated and its probably not available for the item at the time your trying to purchase it” even tho I am trying to make a 5th time refill purchase that already worked 4 times before.

For anyone who has this issue, log out of the merchant account and try checking out as a guest, select the PayPal payment option and allow it to redirect you to the PayPal site where you can log back in or be auto-logged in. The option should then repopulate. From my experience, the site glitches or the cache glitches and the only way to reset your PayPal payment options is to log in as a guest initially and then proceed. I hope this helps!!
