Where can I set PayPal to allow screenshots inside the app

The PayPal app won't allow me to take screenshots. Is there somewhere in the app I can change this? I looked in account security and account preferences and can't find it.

I see you're looking to get screenshots from PayPal app. I would like to inform you that PayPal app may not allow you to take a screenshot of the page which contains sensitive information for security reasons. If there's no sensitive information, you can try logging in from browser and capture the screenshot by using Print screen option from your keyboard.

I also wanted to take a screenshot in the PayPal app and ended up here, reading that this is not possible.

Frankly speaking, this is paternalism in my opinion. It's my PayPal account, it's my transactions, it's my money - it's my risk if I want to take a screenshot of it. Put it to a special setting to allow screenshots, give me 3x a warning when I want to enable it - but don't block it completely. Even my normal banking app allows me to screenshot it.

I just wanted to send a friend an overview of several transactions he sent to me including the descriptive text of each transactions. Such a view is only available in the app - on the website the descriptive text for each transaction is missing. So in the end I have to take a phone to take a photo of my second phone with the PayPal app open...

Maybe you want to consider to allow screenshots in future.

Agree 100% this is just making me asking a friend to take a picture of my phone and then send it to me. It's a stupid feature, now the info is in 2 separate devices, not just mine.

So I was equally frustrated with this ridiculous feature that is more like bug. But I did realize after making the payment that I can screenshot the email confirmation. Not that this helps people take screenshots of anything but a single transaction.

I understand your reason, but we almost always need to send proof of payment to the other party and the inability to screen capture makes it difficult.

To do that I have to open paypal from computer which make the app useless.

Just make a button to send payment receipt to messenger like any other modern payment application, please

To enable screenshots within PayPal, try accessing your PayPal account through a browser rather than the app. Browsers generally allow screenshots, so once you're logged into your PayPal account through a web browser, you should be able to take screenshots without any issue 🤗

Hello, i use a second phone, either friend or partners, to take pictures, i had to do it a lot recently.

It's my account... on my phone...with my information. Why would I not be allowed to take a screenshot of it. I needed it for proof of money sent. Now i'm having get on my computer to circumnavigate this problem that would have taken me 1 second to do the thing I wanted to do.

So dumb. UNBLOCK SCREENSHOTS! why allow it on pc but not app. So dumb and annoying. My Bank doesn't even block this!
