I'm at wit's end trying to link my paypal account. no matter what platform, device, etc, I use, it gives me the error "The supplied PayPal account is not linked to your Prepaid account". I have tried the official mobile app, and the official site on both desktop and mobile browsers, and even texted the help number on the back of my card with no luck on anything
I thought that prepaid debit card carriers couldn't get less righteous than vanilla, but now I know that anything's possible

turns out I had to activate the card on the paypal mobile app, after that, I was able to link my accounts
though you clearly didn't read the OP, as I never said anything about my prepaid declining nor that it was a visa (it's a reloadable prepaid paypal mastercard)

Paypal does not accept all cards so you may get the message the card is declined. If the Visa you are trying to add is virtual or issued online you may need to try another card.

that's no reason to jump to assumptions instead of asking for the additional information

I gave you advice, if that was not the issue then you could have asked for further advice and given further information.
I am not going to waste my time on folks that don't bother to state the full problem they are getting.
