Hello,
My name is Kostiantyn.
I am technical lead in BoxMode.com.
We are creating platform for our customers that allows them to easily create own website.
Currently we are researching possibility to allow our customers to create PayPal Donate Button on their website.
As I know currently you have deprecated API (not recommended) that allows to use dynamic receiver email; and new version of API that allows to create encrypted button for certain email.
In order to easy PayPal Donation Button creation for our customer we want to give them possibility to just fill in their PayPal email and Organization Name and all other job should be done by BoxMode Site Builder.
In general we are expecting something like this:
1. Customer open our Site Builder, choose template and create own website;
2. Customer adds PayPal Donate Button Widget to website template;
3. BoxMode Site Builder asks user for PayPal email and organization name;
4. We are sending this data to PayPal backend (API) and receiving answer: is it possible to use that email/organization pair for creating new button and in case of success we are putting newly created button on user's site;
5. User publish it's site on the internet ans starts receiving money through Donate Button.
Is this possible?
Best regards
