I received a, "You've Got Money" Email from a sale on off flashlight forum. But there are no funds showing in my Paypal balance, never had this happen before. .
More info: Email was sent to my confirmed Paypal email address.
The email is showing a transaction ID, but that is not showing up anywhere on my account either.
Also has a PayPal Email ID.
The buyer is legit, he owns a store and is licensed & bonded so I know he is not scaming me.
So were are my funds?

Problem solved for now, it turns out I had 2 accounts on the same email address. One I thought had been closed back in 2006 and one that I have been using for the years since.
The funds went to the account that I thought had been closed, Papal said the funds would be transferred to the correct account with in 24 hours.
I thought I had closed the first account years ago because my personal Bank account had been compromised. I was told by bank manager to close Papal account, I thought I had sent a letter and an email doing so. I guess that did not work?

I am getting buyers from europe or somewhere who say they have put money in the pay pal account under my email address but not 1 cent is showing up in my Pay Pal account? Some of the emails do not seem like they are truly coming from the Official pay pal account, because the english language used in the paragraphs is not written correctly and no money is showing up in my Official Pay Pal account. I beleive this whole heartedly to be a scam in order to end up shipping out my goods without ever getting paid even 1 Cent!
Please let me know if anyone has seen this attempt or let me know if anyone has fallen for this scam so I know I can be assured I am not just feeling insecure?
Thanx,

I am in the same situation you are. Carefully review the email you received fro the buyer and be certain the email is not a scam? I have been scammed but I never released the product as the scammers are using the Pay pal name and logo but it is not the real Pay pal and they are just hoping to catch you offguard so they can receive a free gift! If paypal customer service says there is no money, make a copy of the email and send it to them. I believe the credibility of Pay pal is not what it should be if the scammers can fake it so easily.....Good luck!
