Receiving funds from Companies who hire Mystery Shoppers

I signed up with a company called ShadowShopper to be a Mystery Shopper  This company posts jobs on a message board, and if you are interested in an assignment, you are redirected to an entirely different company's site to fill out their application. I was asked if I had a PayPal account to receive payment for services. I have a PayPal account that I use to purchase from EBay. But, what do I do to receive payment from companies? Do I open an entirely new account with PayPal?

You don't have to open a new account or do anything different - by default, you can use the same account for both buying and selling!  The merchant should only need to know the email address you use when you log in (nothing else is necessary), because that's how we route payments.  So, for example, with a bank account, you have a bank account number.  In PayPal, instead of an account number, you use email addresses.  At some point they should ask you for that; just give them the email and you're good to go on our side.
