I purchased some concert tickets from ebay and was under the impression the payment went smoothly until a week later when i had a email from paypal telling me that my bank had declined my transfer, and that they were unable to cover my payment for the tickets. I had the money in the bank but it had tried to be taken from the wrong account/card ending (weird as ive bought things since getting a new card for this)
I contacted the seller to say i would send him a transfer. I added funds to my paypal from my current account of £95.90 as paypal said i was in a negative balance so couldnt make a payment. i couldnt send the payment via ebay as it was ended and marked as paid, so i sent him a transfer of £95.90 i unfortunately sent this from another of my accounts.
In short two lots of £95.90 has left my accounts.
The seller has recieved one payment as i asked him if he had got it twice and he said no it shows one transaction failed and one payment which is what mine says...
So where is the £95.90 that i transferred first of all as my pay pal balance is £0.00.
I have emailed paypal and they have said that i need to take it up with the seller as it is showing i have sent two payments i then said i have done this and they suggested opening a dispute. I tired to do this with the original transaction number but it came up with a message saying you can not dispute this as a ACH Return is in process with you bank i dont know what this means?
HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hi there vickib90,
It sounds like the seller has indeed been paid twice for the item.
An ACH return case means your bank have tried or successfully pulled back this payment and reimbursed you.
If both payment have completed then try opening a dispute on the second transaction and you should not receive this message.
You can find both transactions by clicking on 'History'

Thanks for reply. i have looked in the resoultion centre and it has said that the ACH return has been 'case closed' and i have had no refund from my bank and paypal is still a £0.00 balance.
I can open a dispute with the second payment i sent him but none of the reasons fit i have the goods i just want to know why my money has disappeared into thin air shall i ring paypal or open the dispute?
