Airwheel fake??

Hi. I've just bought what I thought was an original "airwheel" electric unicycle. I already have an original airwheel so know what I'm looking for but there was no need because it's so obvious that it isn't a real airwheel. The item sent doesn't have an makers name on it etc. I've contacted seller and he offered £15 discount. I don't want the fake one do I have to pay to return it? Many thanks

If you file for item received but not as described then normally you would have to pay for the item to be returned although if they are a UK company you may have rights to recoup those funds.

However IF you can provide PayPal with written proof the item is fake ie from the company that makes the item or trading standards etc you would not have to return it.

BUT I have found contacting the seller and stating that unless you get a full cleared refund you will be informing trading standards they are selling fakes often gets a favourable outcome.

I'm not sure if it comes under "fake" as it isn't and hasn't got any makers name on it? The advert is for an airwheel(pictures and description clearly show this) but what turned up is100% not an airwheel(I have one to compare) do I still have to go to the trouble getting in contact/sending item off to get proof etc wen a picture will show the difference in real an fake. It hasn't got the 9 digit number that all airwheel must have. The build quality is very poor and makes funny noise when turned on Thanks

Can I ask . I've just bought an x8 from China . The build is good is very quiet when running it has a serial roughly x8170b113520012 that's stamped on the casing both sides and on the metal pedals I've even opened it up and the battery is yellow covered in Chinese or Japanese writing with airwheel on the top giving the amp and wattage it rides nice and i wish to buy another for my son. I have nothing to compare this to and the net says the are fakes every where can you advise as you have one . Thanks.

Also the fakes don't put much effort into making it look or feel the same as the originals or bother with serial numbers
