I booked holiday with 'low cost Holidays' and they just went bankrupt! Am I covered?

Open a dispute and see, you have nothing to lose.
Paypal covers ''services'' and you paid for a service ie holiday and did not receive it so you may well be covered.
Also if you funded your paypal payment via a card then if paypal does not find in your favour you could do a chargeback via your credit card issuer.
Next time choose an ATOL protected company.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

My claim was opened on the 19th July and closed today with a full refund, so it took a while to resolve, but Paypal still had to give the supplier time to respond ( which we knew they would not) and I guess they have quite a few claims to work through. However, it was a great outcome and I'm really happy.

I have since received the following email, which expalins the delay, as Paypal are working with the administrators of the Low cost Holidays groiup in respect of any claims received
"Thank you for your patience as we worked with the administrator assigned to the insolvency of Low Cost Travel Group to determine the outcome of your claim. Based on information received from the administrator we have determined that you are due a refund of XXX.XX GBP. This amount has been credited to your PayPal account. If the payment, or a portion of the payment, was funded by your credit card, the appropriate amount will be refunded to your credit card."
It does look as if they are making the effort to properly address all such claims, although it is obviously a time consuming business.

So, my claim was opened on the 27th July and has been closed today with a full refund!
