Monarch - I'm trying to claim a refund

Anyone had any success in getting a claim about Monarch into Paypal's Resolution Centre? I've tried three times and no case is appearing in the RC. The latest time I tried the PP system responded by saying I'd already raised this issue (or words to that effect). But the RC still shows no active case.
Thanks

Hi I've tried to contact them but it was recorded information about how to resolve it with the seller. It seems they can only send the dispute information to Monarch. Well that's a waste of time! I'm not sure how we stand here to be honest and I don't know how to talk with someone directly at Paypal to find out if we are eligible or not.

I have also been trying to connect with Paypal over a Monarch Airlines flight ticket refund. The telephone helpline is a robotic joke, it consists of multiple choice questions, non of which relate to the problem in hand, same thing applies on the Paypal help website that send you round in endless loops that conclude with a page that instructs you to write a complaint to a Paypal authorized vendor that has just gone out of business and laid of all staff. Like so many large corporations Paypal do not provide a link upon which it is possible to either speak of write to thinking human beings, as far as I'm aware not providing a live link is in breach of EU Distance Selling regs. Any leagle eagles out there who can confirm this ?

After a 3 hour wait I finally got through to an adviser.
They are (obviously) aware of the Monarch incident and knew what to do. The adviser opened a dispute for me and then instantly escalated to a claim, he said after the 10 day period if there is no reply from Monarch (as expected) they will refund the payment in full.
I paid with a debit card but through my paypal account and the transaction is within the 180 day limit so I'm eligible for buyer protection.
Thank you Paypal!

I paid in Jan so over 180 day ago. I managed to register a claim on the PP page, but it only shows if I go into classic view and look for everything in the past year. Shows as deferred. Hoping there will be more news from Paypal soon.
