Monarch - I'm trying to claim a refund

Anyone had any success in getting a claim about Monarch into Paypal's Resolution Centre? I've tried three times and no case is appearing in the RC. The latest time I tried the PP system responded by saying I'd already raised this issue (or words to that effect). But the RC still shows no active case.
Thanks

OK claim now visible on PayPal Resolution Centre awaiting response from Seller Monarch ( like that’s going to happen, not ) told I can escalate claim to PayPal by Oct 23rd or case closed. So I've escalated it immediately, now awaiting review by PayPal.

After I managed to actually speak to someone, who was very helpful, I escalated the claim (because there was no point waiting for a response from bankrupt Monarch) and have been refunded in full -- fairly quickly I have to say, so no complaints there. Without having been able to speak to someone however, I'm not sure I would have got anywhere following the auomated links.

Hi all,
If you have difficulties opening a claim I recommend reaching out to our customer service on freephone 0800 358 7911 or you can send an email to request the claim is opened on your behalf. Don't forget to include the transaction ID!

Exactly the same experience. Just keep going round in circles on the site. Think there must be some sort of block on it. Not managed to speak to a human being. Tried the advice from one who has, but no success.

I have tried to get a refund following the link given. It's a complete waste of time and a complete waste trying to ring them at the moment. Paypal need to get this link working for us.

Success. I got to speak to someone with little waiting time. Very Helpful, he logged my claim which I had been unable to do on the 'Resolutions' section.
E-mail acknowledgement of logged claim received, and I now have to wait a few days for a response and perhaps escalate the claim.

I have been informed that I cannot get a refund as I made the payment more than 180 days ago. Apparently using PayPal voids your section 75 protection to claim from the credit card company so it looks like I am £400+ out of pocket. Be warned, don't use PayPal to book anything more than 6 months ahead, e.g. Festivals, flights etc as you have no protection. Thanks PayPal (not) for not making this clear when taking the money
