Apologies if this on the wrong board, but wasn't sure which one to direct it to.
I received an email from Paypal on the 23rd April advising that I qualified for a £10 discount off a £40 spend at Asda Direct. I made a purchase online at Asda Direct yesterday and I received a paypal email confirmation for the order specifically stating that the £10 discount had been applied. However, the confimration email from Asda itself did not reflect this discount and it appeared to have the full amount as the total. So I logged in and checked the actual Paypal account and the expected £10 discount has indeed failed to go through and I have been charged the higher, full amount for the order according to the Paypal online statement. I'm wondering how this has occurred and if there's anything that can be done about it? Thanks. Any advice would be appreciated.

Best to contact customer services. >>
Click on the words "Contact us" at the bottom of paypal pages > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.
OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
JUST READ SOME INFO ON ANOTHER FORUM AND APPARENTLY IT ONLY SHOWS UP ON YOUR FUNDING SOURCE WITH THE REDUCTION. SO CHECK YOUR CARD OR BANK STATEMENT.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Ahhh! I see. Thank you so much. That makes sense now that I think about it. I don't use online banking but my statement is due next week and this payment will fall just at the end of it, luckily. So I'll wait to check it when it arrives.
Thank you once again for your response. I'm very grateful 🙂
