Pending refund now missing

I was emailed last week that I had refund via echeque in progress. I went into paypal and saw it as pending. I went back in today and no sign of it now. Any idea what happened? And is it still ongoing? Frustrating to try and find info about this so thought someone out there might have see this before. Help!

Welcome to the Community Forum! Sorry to hear about this refund issue.

In this case, I'd advise going to your account's transaction history to see where your refund has been sent, as if it no longer shows as 'Pending', it's likely that the eCheque has cleared and the money has now been sent back to you.

If you originally sent the payment using your bank account, the money should now be back on your PayPal balance, but if you used a card, the money will have been credited back to the card.

Here’s how to view your transaction details:

1. Log on to your account at http://www.paypal.com/
2. Click ‘History’ at the top of the page.
3. Change the date range to display more transactions, and click ‘Show’.
4. Click 'Details' next to the transaction to see the 'Refunded' status.
