Collecting sales tax is all new to me and there's much I don't understand. For anyone with knowledge in this area, here are my questions:
1. Do I only need to charge sales on invoices of buyers from my own state?
2. I do understand that PP is not a marketplace facilitator, like Etsy or eBay, and that I'm responsible for remitting the taxes I collect, however, I'm in the state of Florida and Florida doesn't have a sales tax. There's something about this concept I'm not grasping. If we don't have a state sales tax, what am I collecting them for?
If anyone can help clear up my confusion, I'm eternally grateful.

See this site or consult an accountant or tax advisor to figure out if and how sales tax laws in your state work & applies to you and add sales tax to your invoices or use the PayPal sales tax calculator found in the App Center under Streamline Operations section accordingly.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
