I've built a "No-Code Checkout" button which provides HTML code for me to paste into my web site. The code works with the exception of the Venmo button which fails to launch the Venmo app on either Androids or iPhones. The Venmo button points to a URL that begins with https://www.paypal.com/smart/checkout/fallback?channel=mobile-web...
The target website just shows a padlock icon inside a spinning circle forever.
The wizard that generates the HTML also offers a simple "Pay Link" URL and a QR Code option. Both of those options successfully launch the Venmo app on my Android device. It's only the "Button Code" option that creates HTML pointing to https://www.paypal.com/sdk/js? that results in the spinning icon.
Any help would be appreciated.
