How to appeal to PayPal to enable developer features for Egypt?

Hello,

I'm not a developer, but work for a company that relies on an external payment provider. They recently informed they will no longer be able to provide payments through PayPal. Their reasoning is that Egypt is not a supported country for PayPal developers. The list included other countries as well, such as (Albania, Thailand, Monaco, Algeria .. etc).

For the past 5 months I've gone back and forth with their help desk, trying to garner any help of any sort to be able to be paid again. But they insist there's nothing they can fix on their end. That it's PayPal's rules.

I don't know what else to do. I don't think coming to the community would do much help at this point, but it couldn't hurt. If possible, how can I go about appealing to PayPal, to request the enabling of developer features for Egypt?

Thank you.

If you're facing issues with PayPal's developer features not being available in Egypt, you can try the following steps: 1. **Contact PayPal Support:** Reach out to PayPal directly through their support channels. You can submit a support ticket or try reaching them through email or phone. Explain your situation and inquire about the possibility of enabling developer features for Egypt. Be sure to provide specific details about the limitations you're facing. 2. **Developer Forums:** PayPal has a community forum for developers. You can visit the [PayPal Developer Community](https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/PayPal-Developer/bd-p/developer) and post your question or concern. PayPal developers and representatives often participate in these forums, and you may receive guidance or insights into your issue. 3. **Social Media Channels:** Some companies, including PayPal, actively monitor and respond to customer queries on social media platforms. You can try reaching out to PayPal's official social media accounts to express your concern and seek assistance. 4. **Escalate Through Your Payment Provider:** If you're working with an external payment provider, you can request that they escalate the issue on your behalf. They may have direct contacts or channels for communication with PayPal that could help resolve the situation. 5. **Check for Updates:** Policies and features can change, so periodically check PayPal's official documentation or announcements for any updates regarding developer features in Egypt. Remember to clearly outline your need for developer features, emphasizing the impact on your business. While there's no guaranteed outcome, these steps may help you engage with PayPal and seek a resolution to the issue you're facing.
