I received the following notification from PayPal or at least it seems to be from PayPal: that I can no longer use PayPal services and that my account has been suspended due to misuse of the user agreement. And that they will be holding my money for 180 days and then at that time they will email further instructions on how to pick up my money. I don’t know about anyone else but I opened this account because I heard a lot of great things and after having the account for approx 45 days this happens and I know I did not misuse any of my user agreement. Besides I thought when things like these happen you get a detailed explanation and not some pre typed letter that is sent to everyone saying sorry Charlie.... I can’t reach anyone on the phone to try and get this resolved. Any ideas how I might resolve the problem quickly and or how to reach a live person At PayPal who can help me resolve things quickly with my account? I just seem to go round and round on the phone and get ultimately told PayPal didn’t have anyone at this time to help assist me with my problem. Any help would be appreciated to get me in the hands of a live person.... Your truly... frustrated

Same situation here, I've mainly used my account to buy games from Steam and Nintendo Store and they suddenly just limited my account.

They are like a ghost company and apparently have no accountability or care about the customer. I've had major problems this week and I haven't violated any policies. I tried to send money to my nephew because their house burnt to the ground and it was nothing but trouble. I had my niece to open a PayPal account and she did. Now it shows the money but because she has a new account, they are telling her she has to wait 21 days to access the money. They needed the money now...not 21 days from now. You bet they took the money out of my bank though. Last night I tried to make a purchase and it put me in limited status and even wanted me to upload a copy of my drivers license. I do not need this kind of frustration from any company and certainly not this one. I wouldn't have even used them if not for the fact that eBay shows the seller as only accepting PayPal. I contacted the seller and they said they accept all forms of payment. Either way, I'm about to deep six this company. I know they don't care, but I certainly don't need the frustration. I've used them for years, so something has changed. There are too many other ways to get money to people or companies, so I will count this as a lesson.

I was really furious that I received message today that my Account is locked for 180 days.
I have been using my Paypal Account for more than 10 yrs and this is what just Paypal did. I am very angry really cause I always tell all my friends to use paypal, when buying and receiving payments, first choice is paypal.
I did not use my account for any illegal activity. I purchase goods to Merchants who have paypal or who have authorization from paypal (ebay) and now this?
really really **bleep**.

funny thing with this page is that even if you post your rants here nothing will happen... we are still at the mercy of paypal who continues to make our lives miserable.... my account has been limited for almost a year now :-(.... because of this i cant even go shopping at ebay.

i had a account with pay pal i used to send money to my daughter and that i also used for a stimulus check on after my stimulus hit and my dad sent me 250 my account was locked i have almost $1600 that says available but it want let me pull it off.. ive called countless times and no one can tell me anything this has been going on for over 7 almost 8 months you call them and they cant tell you why its closed but being ivestigated how is this legal for them to hold your money... i had to make a whole new account same name same bank card etc now they refuse to give me my money its total BS
