Is Cavalry SPV I, LLC, a Collections Agency legit?

Has anyone received a letter from Synchrony where they sold account debt to Cavalry SPV I, LLC, a  Collections Agency? Odd thing is I never received any statements from Paypal or Synchrony on the alleged account. I called Paypal/Synchrony, and they said there is no information or statements for this alleged account. The signature on letter closes with 'Sincerely, Synchrony Bank', there is no persons/department signature or phone number.

I understand you received a collections notice from Cavalry LLC. I know this is a concerning situation. This is an authentic collections agency and may be about a prior account you held with Synchrony. In this situation, please contact Synchrony directly. Within the notice should be an account number that Synchrony may use to help locate the debt.
