My account was closed with about $1,911.60 in it on hold. How do I get my money out?

My account was closed with about $1,911.60 in it. Following a request that I should submit some documents which I did before my account was closed. Not fraudulent transaction please 🙏. How do I get my money from a closed account? How am I sure after 180 days PayPal will lift the bank or pay me my money. Honestly, this is so disheartening 💔 for me at this critical time.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

Okay. Thanks for your concern. I've been able to reach out to them on Facebook. They told me, the fund will be on hold for 180 days. Now the problem is, the I'm not in the country where account was registered. I'm in Nigeria, and my account was registered in UAE. Here in Nigeria we use VPN often because we're denied of so many things. I'm above 18. And the transaction wasn't fraudulent. I paid someone to help me in creating the PayPal account and I was assured the processes of creating my Paypal account was fine. Almost $2000 was huge enough for me to loss on this critical time. This is not funny at all. I seriously need help in this regard.

The option to receive Paypal payments is sadly not available or supported in Nigeria.
Its also against Paypal rules to use a VPN and can lead to a permanent ban of your account.

Its against Paypal rules to use another countries Paypal account.
