Overturning a dispute?

I was just denied a claim based on "no protection" what?! Excuse me but what is the purpose of PayPal? I had a blatant, obvious theft. The seller never shipped the item at all, they stalled and waited weeks to get by the credit card challenges, I thought I was good cause I had PayPal which I've always heard was buyer friendly. But if the person outright steals it, it's not covered? I even provided the email exchange that say they will ship it never! Sent me a troll face. Site was an obvious scam, not that obvious cause I fell for it, but besides all that - they obviously have no tracking number, nothing they could possibly produce besides mashing the keyboard to get around Paypal, how? This is a very cut and dry case, yet it was denied? Cause I don't have paypal protection? I've never heard of that until now, and what is the point of even using Paypal if they don't cover?

To me this is very simple, shop amazon, make them grow even larger cause this is garbage, I'm not easily moved but man there really is no point to Paypal at all. In-fact scammers are using Paypal as a blanket to continue to steal, and they support and enable it!

To quote my very last Paypal buyer to me "Paypal wont do **bleep**" this has got to be fixed. It shouldn't have even taken as long as they did, let alone deny. What now? Try and fight the credit card transaction? It was way back in November? Paypal has obviously left me out in the wind, I will not be using thier service going forward unless this is resolved.

Update I finally called to and explain, a very nice man was clearly able to see it was a scam. Upsetting it went on for so long but kudos to PayPal for resolving it... finally. Hopefully the issue is fully resolved just waiting for my money.
