PayPal Donation Page Scam

Hey,
Today I bought a digital Item via discord seller. The seller asked me for $30.00 for digital items(in-game currency) and sent me a PayPal link to pay him. I entered the link and paid him, not noticing that it is a PayPal donation page.
(there is no donation element on the PayPal page when opened it).
After I paid, waited a couple of hours and still did not receive the digital items(in-game currency). I contacted him via discord telling him I did not receive the items. The seller replied that he is refunding me the $30.00. 10 hours passed from the seller's reply, The seller became unavailable(he blocked me). Turns out The Seller is a huge scammer.
So, I went instantly to PayPal to report the transaction, As I have all the evidence (Discord chat, game logs...). Specifically, the seller said implicitly that he is refunding me. Uploaded all the evidence, highlighting the important passages for the case.
Received From PayPal that this transaction is ineligible for buyer protection because it is a donation (which the seller tricked me to think is regular goods and services transaction).
1) What can I do now? How can I get my money back?
2) The seller must be stopped. I don't think I am the only one who got scammed by him. Also, he is abusing PayPal with the donation link.
3) Can PayPal make it more obvious that this is a donation page and buyer will be ineligible for a refund?
4) PayPal should stop auto closing donation problem reporting. As my case for example.

Hi @yazanzaid00,

Thank you for your post!

I am so sorry to hear what has happened. I know this must be concerning. Unfortunately, donations ae not covered under PayPal's Buyer Protection Policy. This means, any disputes opened for donations would be denied. If you made the transaction with your bank/card, you can contact them to see what options you have with them.

When sending a payment for an item/service, its really important to make sure it is sent as Goods and Service. Donations, and Friends and Family payments are not covered. Please remember this when sending future payments.

PayPal are always completing reviews of customers account. If we notice that a seller is not being genuine, our teams will take all the relevant action against them.

I hope this helps!
