PayPal rejects my dispute because it says I received a nights accommodation when I cancelled it.

I booked a nights accommodation at a hotel while travelling.Car broke down in another town so cancelled the booking around 12 noon. Hotel advertises Free Cancellation but won’t refund me the cost. Opened PayPal dispute but they sided with the seller saying I received the service which is false.ECE87694-CFA7-45C2-8999-E2320B7C8B6B.jpeg

Maybe that is only if you book via booking.com?

If you log on to the hotels website they charge a fee for cancelations up to 100%.

If you're not satisfied with the resolution of your claim, you can appeal the outcome of the dispute in the resolution center of your PayPal account and you can do so within 10 days of case closure.
