Hi, just wondering where I stand with this situation.
- Purchased item from online store that offered returns for 60 days.
- Before item arrived I realised it was not suitable for what I wanted.
- Contacted seller to advise
- Seller advised to Return to Sender via postal system.
- Parcel arrived for collection and was marked as Return to sender by postal system on 20th March
- Followed up with sender, who said they haven't received the return.
- Lodged query with postal system who advised item was delivered back to sender.
- Have sent 2 emails to sender over the course of a week and am being ignored.
Just wondering where I stand, tried to lodge a case, but couldn't find a set of options that fit the above parameters.
Am I able to get a refund at all, or can the seller just keep ignoring me?
Thanks so much

Click the transaction.
Click Report a problem.
I see two possible reasons:
Issues with your purchase: I want a refund for some or all of the items in this order
Issues with the seller: The seller didn’t respond when I had contacted them about an issue
Pick the option closest to your ultimate goal.
Beware that PayPal buyer protection doesn’t cover buyer’s remorse but provide explanation and proof of return delivery (tracking) anyway.
If case is rejected and you paid with credit card, file a chargeback since chargeback terms may be broader than PayPal’s’s dispute terms.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
