I have recently received an invoice from Digitech Solutions saying that they had renewed my 2 year membership for $199.99USD . The only product I use from them is a calender app which I would not pay $99 a year for when there are free ones avaiable. They say they have deducted the payment as it is an automated system but it is not showing up in any accounts hence that is why I looked in Paypal. 3 days later I get the same invoice. I can't reply to their email and when finding their website and going to the contact us link I get a 405-HTTP Verb used....is not allowed. The other strange thing is the sender is Digitel Solutions and a private name .Why wouldn't they use their website domain name. This thing is stressing me out. Hopefully someone has answers.

I am not sure mine came through I got an email. I called the number but they then said that I needed to be in front of a computer. I felt that this was a way to get access to my computer to install a virus or malware so I asked for the last 4 digits of the credit card that was charged. They said they could not tell me because of the regulations. I then asked them to tell me which regulation they were talking about. I wanted the article number and such..
Their response was **bleep** you.
Yep definitely a scam.

So is PayPal actually DOING anything about this very obvious scam from "Digitech"? Is PayPal as safe and reliable as they claim? I think this calls for action on the part of PayPal.

Your subscription has been processed for auto-renewal, and it will be completed by May 20, 2021, as per the contract.
After 48 hours, your non-refundable renewal balance of $199.99 will appear on your account statement.
If you'd like to change or cancel your subscription, please contact us as soon as possible at [Removed. Phone #s not permitted]/strong>.
Respectfully,
Digitech Solutions[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]/div>
I called the number and a young man, apparently in India, told me to go to this URL in order to cancel the charge of $199; <removed> Obviously this is a scam. I told him that I thought it was a scam, and hung up. (I changed #'s to x's for security)
