Scammer sends weird text to prolong case

So I purchased items and the USPS alert kept saying it didn't leave yet for weeks. Upon further investigation, I realized this company may be a scam.  Filed the claim here. I got a text from "[removed] 🙄 saying they didn't get my full address which is LIE. I feel like this has prolonged my claim now until July 12th as a LYING TACTIC. What is my recourse? Thank you!

Hi @JayneN,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that you're in a situation where you feel like you're being delayed by the counterparty in a case.

The best way to protect yourself is to respond within the timeframes of the dispute/claim without allowing the seller to delay you past those deadlines. If the seller is indeed trying to string you along, that will keep you protected.

I hope this is resolved amicably, but if it is not, I hope the case goes quickly for you!

Olivia
