Space Cockroach withdrew $5.00 from my Pay Pal. I don't know what it was for and how can I get the money back and keep this from happening again

An unauthorised withdrawal from my PayPal account has been made by a company called Space Cockroach. I have never heard of them before never joined them. What can I do to hopefully get my money refunded? I had to google them to see what they were about, and it's a game. I can't locate any way of contacting them either. Help and advice please thanks

Hello @Mirrabook

Thanks for stopping by, and congratulations on your first post in the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the unauthorized transaction that has taken place; I know how scary that can be. First, I recommend checking to see if the transaction is related to a subscription you've set up in the past but may not have canceled. You can find how on our Help Center here: What is an automatic payment and how do I cancel or update one? If you find it wasn't something you had authorized in the past, you can file an unauthorized dispute through our Resolution Center. I also recommend resetting your password and security questions right away.

I hope this helps!

- Meghan

I also had the same problem I was playing bingo smash went to cash out not only was my deposit gone that I had made but so was the $20 I won and they charged my PayPal account $10 I think bingo smash and solitaire smash or probably owned by the same company and I probably paid as space cockroach I wish just play would do more vetting of their games being that this is the source where I found out about this game to play and it seems as if they are fraudulent. I contacted PayPal but because I had downloaded the game and played they found that my charge was not fraudulent even though I did not authorize the second transaction.

I had $5 taken from Space Cockroach. I'm guessing it was for a Bingo app, but the only reason that I spent the money was because it said that if I use PayPal and spend $3 minimum, Google Play store will give me $10.

I have 2 transactions, both for $10 that I have no recollection of but PayPal say these are not covered by buyers protection so I'm out of pocket. Anyone else have this issue and if so did you get your money back?
