Trouble with TotalAV

Has anyone had dealings wito TotalAV? They sell an antivirus program but their billing over Paypal is often way over what they claim in their initial offer. There are a huge number of complaints against them in public but Paypal seems to continue to work with them

luckily I used PayPal for the subscription but cancelled as the service that they provided was not what they had advertised. They then tried to charge me more than what was agreed. Horrible company with fake reviews. PayPal eventually refunded me but I agree, why are they working with this scam company??

I had the same problem with TotalAV. I flooded their inbox with over 40 Emails to refund me completely. I have now the amount of 317 Euro back in my pocket.

Spent all this week trying to get Paypal to refund monies improperly deducted from my account by Total AV without success. Total AV stated I had to close my dispute before they would refund. This suggests to me they are running their scam through Paypal. Seems I am going to have to close my Paypal account now to stop anymore monies being taken illegally by this organisation. Numerous organisations such as Malwaretips and PC magazine report similar stories from victims.

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
