Hey. Someone asked to buy a cabinet from me, and said wanted to pay by PayPal and their sister wd collect it. When the payment didn’t go through, I received a fake email asking me to request more funds up to £400. The penny dropped that I am being scammed. My question is : do I need to close my PayPal account now? Is it no longer secure? Thanks

As long as you didn't give them your paypal password or accepted a code that they sent to allow them to hack your account then you should be fine. Its highly unlikely the scammer even has a paypal account as most scams are done via fake paypal emails.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
