So I have been getting emails saying that I have a new estimate and am being told l have received a payment of $3000 and other times $5000 from PayPal business accounts but PayPal has put it on hold and will not release it process payment into my PayPal personal account until I have purchased a $10 Razer Gold Gift card, $50 of Bitcoin, or other types of gift cards, etc. Or ask me to pay $50 into my account or another account to someone else or through a credit union or something for a processing fee or transaction fee or for USD to AUD transfer or transactions and then take a screenshot of my purchase and send through to provide proof of purchase for then to be able to send, approve or release the funds into my account. These are just emails though my actual PayPal account account in my app says nothing and no funds received or being processed etc so I am assuming it is all a scam am I right?? Would PayPal even ask for something like this or similar like at all ever??

You never pay any upfront fee as a seller.

Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade/or any other reason to 'accept' a payment.

You would certainly never have to send funds via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.

Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.

No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.
