Has any seller had their customer’s deposit into their PayPal account reversed afterwards?

I am a seller in South Africa and have had an offer on a certain product. The buyer (supposedly a South African) in the United States only wants to pay via PayPal. The item is for his son. I want to know if any possible scams at the moment where I will sit without the product and without my money.
