I'm a new user at Paypal and I sold a pair of shoes on Grailed. As soon as I made my first order, my paypal account was permanently limited and I don't know the reason. When talking to Paypal, they said that they did not hold the money I sold the shoes, the person holding it was Grailed, but when I contacted Grailed, they said the responsibility belonged to Paypal and they did not know anything. The order is on its way to the buyer now, and I don't know where my money will go since the account has been permanently limited.
Someone told me that just link a new paypal account to grailed will solve the problem and the money will go to the new account. Is that real??? So if I link a new unrestricted paypal account to Grailed, when the buyer receives the goods, will the money go to the new account or will it still go to the old, permanently restricted paypal account????

Hello @ChiiNguyen,
Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!
I'm sorry to hear of the permanent limitation. I can certainly understand how frustrating something like this can be. Usually, details about a permanent limitation are sent via email or can be seen in the Resolution Center, but these decisions are not something made lightly. Typically if an account has been permanently limited, then some part of our user agreement has been broken and involves multiple factors, some of which may not be readily apparent to you and there may be a possibility of error. If you believe that there was a mistake, you can contact Customer Service and request a second look at the basis for the limitation decision and review if there is anything that was missed. If there is a mistake found, it can be corrected. If the decision is upheld, however, there would be no further avenue for appeal, as a permanent limitation is final. Support is also available on Twitter or Instagram by sending a DM or a PM on Facebook.
About receiving money, if you linked your new PayPal account to grail, the funds should be credited to the same unrestricted PayPal account. If the same account is limited, you cannot receive money.
Regards,
Ayesha
