Does anyone know who Actitech are and why they took unauthorised money from my Paypal? Is it possibly a yoga/fitness app I purchased for half the amount (to trial it)and now they are just taking money automatically?!

That company goes by a lot of names. A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product, and forget to cancel and it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.
Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

I found the settings under the wallet then automatic payments. can at least remove PayPal as the payment option.

ACTITECH Ltd ... is a SCAMMER,,, I Have just read others Reports and ACTITECH Ltd go by several other NAMES.... They take Automatic Payments from Pay Pal. I Have had FOUR Or More Payments Taken,,,, This is connected to a FITNESS CLUB..which I DID NOT Sign up to, I must have just accepted a FREE TRIAL...as another lady did...AND there are 680 other COMPLAINTS..

I've cancelled the payment in Paypal twice and Actitect have still taken money from my account despite it showing as cancelled - where else should I look?

I do understand that you have issue with the amount being debited from your account. Please check if there is a subscription on your account and cancel incase you do not need the subscription for the product. You can check the given article to cancel subscription www.paypal.com/cshelp/article/help240 . You can reach out to the Support Team during business hours by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page to get additional help with your issue. If your unable to login or are not in access of your PayPal account, you can connect with us via phone call as "as a Guest" (this does not require you to sign in to your PayPal account).
