Item Not As Described Dispute

A buyer filed a chargeback ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED. But actually her parcel was not delivered because she provided us an incomplete address. Is this case valid? How come the buyer chose ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED when she did not received the parcel due to her negligence?

Did you send to the paypal registered address of the buyer? Was her paypal address incomplete?

Yes, packaging slip and paypal address are exactly the same. The buyer sent me her ID and we found out that the state name and last 4 digits of postal code was missing. So usps considered it as unknown addressee. But what’s strange is .. she file a chargeback for ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED instead of item not received.

Some buyers just click on anything and don't actually read the options.

Anyway if she wins she is going to have to provide tracking showing she has returned the item back to you !!!

This is a chargeback. The buyer filed the dispute through their bank. Buyers don’t have to send back the items.

I understand your concern about receiving the chargeback from the buyer. Chargebacks are initiated outside of PayPal and controlled by the card issuer. If you don’t agree with the chargeback, you can dispute it by providing information about the transaction in the Resolution Center. It typically takes 30 days for us to dispute the chargeback, and it may take your buyer's card company up to 75 days to resolve a chargeback and come to a final decision.
