LIST OF FRAUDULENT COMPANIES USING PAYPAL

Lately it appears that more and more FRAUDULENT FACEBOOK companies are using PayPal to hide behind.

PayPal must be getting sick and tired of dealing and acting as mediator between disgruntled customers and shonky fraudulent COMPANIES advertising and selling faulty and non-useable products that these companies REFUSE TO REFUND OR EVEN REPLY TO DISGRUNTLED NON SUSPECTING PURCHASERS

So my question being why DOESN’T PAYPAL publish a list of ALL the shonky dodgy COMPANIES eg Landbase Trading Company , Cardiff, Wales So unsuspecting purchasers can check the list first before trying to deal with these rip off companies who just keep getting richer and avoid all prosecutions etc

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

Paypal would not be able to check every individual seller / merchant / company in over 200 countries worldwide that adds paypal to their website to accept payments.

So they give some buyer and some seller protection. However that protection can never be a 100% coverall so you need to read it so you can risk assess your transactions.

They do stop bad companies from using Paypal when enough claims start rolling in.
However as they are in China (mostly) then its easy for them to just start over with a new name, so stopping them does not really do anything.

The best thing is to not buy from them in the first place, to recognise them -

1. No return address on the returns policy. The site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) but they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost often more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number. if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. Rarely company address information.
4. Great pictures of items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.
5. Fake reviews.
6. Google and you can often see previous company names as they change them once enough claims roll in and Paypal stop them using their services and start over.
7. Send fake tracking numbers to win item non receipt of item claims.

[Removed] is a fraudulent online store that you should avoid at all costs. This scam website claims to sell various products at very low prices, but will either send you counterfeit or inferior goods, or nothing at all. Paypal is refusing to refund my money claiming that the items are materially similar which couldn't be further from the truth. This is an unverified company shipped from [Removed] Also goes by various other names including Newgodshop.

Thank you greatly for your reply it was refreshing that it wasn’t some poor excuse from PayPal “ saying oh ah BUYER BEWARE”

Currently at the moment there is a glut of companies running very similar scams under the supposed conventiont.com and conventionm.com  and various other CONVENTION( any letter you want).com that are as FRAUDULENT AS ALL POSSIBLE with parent companies in Wales, UK and China and other places and are all trading with PayPal consent

And as soon as you try and contact them via EMAIL  Surprise surprise absolutely NO RESPONSE AND YOUR MONEY IS GONE

I had PayPal refund me ONE TRANSACTION and then when the company concerned blatantly lied to them and PayPal believed them PayPal reversed the credit from my account without substantiating the lies the company fed them

I am now finding PayPal nearly as hard to deal with as these shonky companies hiding within

Use the check list i gave you above + Trustpilot reviews to check out the company before you buy.

They will rarely have an address for returns OR a phone number so if not then avoid them.
