My PayPal Account Permanently limited

Hi, my PayPal account suddenly got permanently limited even though i provided all the verification documents which was asked. Now there is no option to contact PayPal and all my funds are also got stuck in it. i want to appeal the account limitation.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Normally you can't appeal a permanent limitation however if you want to try then contact customer services?

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

i added a secondary email to my PayPal and withdrew money to it the next few minutes my account got limited 

i was asked to provide ID and proof of fulfillment i did gave the source of my funds which has always been from my mql5.com freelancer page

now i see permanently limited email sent to me this is so fraustrating what did i do wrong by adding a second email or withdrawing through the second email because i have been withdrawing from my platform without issues

Contact the Better Business Bureau and any other agency that deals with consumer affairs. PayPal has placed illegal limitation on my account without providing me with sufficient evidence to support their reason for the limitation. A supervisor has been supposed to be calling me back since 11 am it’s 6:18pm and still nothing. Paypal Inc is a billion dollar corporation and how did they get there well if you take into consideration all of the monies that are held illegally by them and the interest collected on said monies. Well there you go. Report them to the State Attorney in the State in which you reside. Maybe that will help. And stay on top of it. The more people who report this illegal activity to law enforcement the better. Maybe then they will refrain from their illegal business practices. Shame on you Paypal

They limited my account because of a UCC filing that is against an LLC. They refuse to remove the limitation even after 7 months. They are illegally placing limitations on accounts in order to obtain interest payments on money they are illegally withholding from consumers. They are thieves and anyone who has had their accounts hijacked should report to the local law enforcement agency. This needs to stop. A billion dollar corporation ripping off individuals is unacceptable.

Reporting to local law enforcement is laughable. Hi LAPD, I know you guys won't even show up when my neighbors place gets broke into but could you come by and take a look at my PayPal account and maybe wait on hold with me to customer service so you can tell them you will arrest them?

PayPal does not remove the limitations after 180 days my account has been illegally limited for 7 months. And they still refuse to remove the limitation. They are liars and thieves

This is insane, PayPal should be taken to a congressional hearing for the way they conduct business. They are basically operating as a bank so why do they feel they can hold money that is not being held for any legitimate reason but only the possibility that a problem arises yet with no indication that may happen. It is shameful and the only reason PayPal still has this many users is because many are forced into because of lucrative behind the scene deals with other providers that don't offer any option other than PayPal. This violates so many fundamental business ethics its ridiculous.
