Hi,
I bought an item that was not as described. This was sold on a private listing and I have been communicating with the seller via text message as it only showed the phone number. When I received it, a part I specifically asked about was not as described and the seller agreed to a return. Though I've not heard back after asking to confirm a return address.
I've been reading some nightmare stories of buyers not getting their money back after they return the item with proof of postage, and I really don't want to be in that situation.
What would be the best way to go about returning it? Should I take proof the item is not as described? Then is it ok to send it back and in the case if I don't receive a refund should I open up a claim? I really though I could buy with confidence with PayPal, though after reading some of the posts here it's shook me up.
