Hi,

I just received an email with an invoice from "McAfee Trustee" scheduling a billing in the next opportunity.
However I did not order any McAfee product.

The invoice has no customer data.
Maybe is a fake or an error, but I have no way to know:

Just delete any invoices you may receive. First off Paypal don't send confirmation invoices if anything they may send you a simple email stating what you just purchased go into your older PayPal emails look between the differences of a actual purchase you are aware & The invoices you not made by you. They may receive your email through simple app games you play to earn money or other website interest you share your email to be careful who and where you enter your email address I say it's best keep any financial accounts to strictly one private email made strictly for the account and create one you may use to use in free play such as games you sign up for important subscriptions etc. This will help keep your accounts more private and harder to access never allow your device to save important passcodes or emails for convenience of signing in In the end it's not convenient if you have to worry about leeking most your information

Hello @HelderDaniel,

Welcome and thank you for your post! Thank you @Starbudz411 for your help in Community Forum.

We are sorry to hear that you have received an invoice in your email with PayPal logo in it. What you describe receiving is a common ploy that fraudsters use to trick people using email. Whenever you receive this type of notifications and email, then always check your resolution centre by log in to your PayPal account. If you didn't find any related details in the resolution centre means it's a fraud. There's also some information here that may be helpful, and this article as well.

Also, I would recommend changing your password as soon as possible to be on the safe side, and if you have any thought that your email account may have been compromised to gather that information, change your password there too. Use passwords that are unique to each site. Here's a great Help Center article on How to spot fake, fraudulent, or phishing PayPal emails or websites.

I hope that helps!

Warm Regards,

Shradha
