Hi all. I received a notification from PayPal that someone sent me an invoice to make a payment of USD 500 for purchasing a anti virus software which I didn't make. Could I just leave it like that with out paying or how do I cancel or report this?

I removed my credit card from paypal on Jan 17, 2023.
On Jan. 24, 2023, I got another FRAUD invoice.
I have a lot of concern about these fraud invoices.
Are a lot of other people getting these FRAUD invoices?
I have not bought ANYTHING with paypal.

I don't have the option to cancel the invoice. If I click on any of the fake invoices, there's just a message "Something's not right" and a button to "Try again" which only reproduces the "Something's not right" message. No information or actions related to the invoice are available.
If I try to dispute the invoice from the Resolution Center the message is that "We’re sorry, you can’t file a case on this type of transaction. Please refer to our User Agreement for more details."
It's been like this for several months now. I am totally unable to do anything with these fraudulent invoices.

Got an invoice email from Paypal LLC with an unrecognized amount. All links on email connect to real Paypal except button to pay invoice opens up a page with the invoice and another button to proceed with payment. Did not connect with that button but call the number on invoice&nbs[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]and a line opened with a dog barking in background and person wanting the invoice number (disconnected and called the real contact number of Paypal… no such invoice.
Very sophisticated with no misspellings and correct links. Anyone else getting this scam?

I received an invoice for $391 to someone/something named "Dash Maryy". I have no idea who or what this is. I cannot find anywhere in my account that it has actually been paid. There is a picture of a clock? next to the invoice? What does that mean?

Scam money request or invoice that shows in your Paypal account..
Scammers harvest email addresses and send out money requests or invoices hoping that some of those email addresses are linked to an open Paypal account.
The unsuspecting recipient is given a fake Paypal phone number in the 'notes' section added by the scammer.
If you did call that number (DO NOT) to query the transaction the scammer tells you that they need to access your computer / Paypal account to cancel that transaction for you.
They will then hack your computer or Paypal account.
Paypal never put phone numbers on emails or in money requests/invoices, they tell you to contact them via help/contact bottom of their website pages.
If there is a cancel option then cancel it.
As long as you don't click to pay it then no money would be transferred.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I received an email from Susan [removed] saying PayPal has charged my account $347.15 for an Amazon prime subscription on Jan 30, 2023 and I should call ASAP to cancel. Is that you asking me to call or some scam? I do not see the charge on my PayPal account. as of today (1/30/23) at 6pm.

Hello,
I have received the following email from PayPal recently with an invoice from Coinbase.
Image was removed, so I added image link - [removed]
I don't even have an account with Coinbase nor do I deal with crypto.
How is this invoice generated? Can I ignore it simply?
What scares me is a cancellation after 24 hours is not valid for a refund or claim.
also, PayPal helpdesk number mentioned in the email is [removed]. Is this the real one?
